Woodborough Woods C of E Primary School is proud to be part of Archway Learning Trust.
The Trust Board has overall responsibility for the strategic leadership and governance of all schools within the Trust. It delegates a range of responsibilities to each school’s local Academy Advisory Board (AAB), formerly known as the Local Governing Body (LGB), enabling governance to remain closely connected to the local school community.
The Academy Advisory Board works in partnership with the Headteacher and Trust to support and challenge the school and champion the school’s vision and values, and help ensure the best possible outcomes for all pupils.
The Trust’s Scheme of Delegation explains how governance responsibilities are shared between the Trust Board, its committees and Academy Advisory Boards. The Terms of Reference set out the specific role and responsibilities of the Academy Advisory Board.
